I should add that the Praxian immigrants were all old people, women, children and crippled warriors. Whereas the Pain Centaurs would probably be heroic magical types IMO. So the Grazers are going to be dominated by the Pain Centaur offspring and so when KoS talks about the origins of the grazers, it reflects what the rulers say.
