Sorry, just couldn't resist. But I had always felt that the Barbarian Horde was far too big to be a single 'tribe' and was more a confederation of tribes. The difference between the nomads and the heortlings is that Tribe seems to mean a different size-set of people. The nomadic tribes are much larger than those of the hoeortlings, and are better through of as being confederations of tribes. But that's a quibble.
