Misapplied Worship

Following on from comments on the frequency of misapplied worship, especially wrt the "deviant/defiant" cults a la Storm Urox...

I think the "Misapplied Worship" rules are intended to work in the same way as the old RQ3 rule that said someone couldn't be more than one of a priest, a shaman or a user of Sorcery. That is it's a way of applying a break on the player who want's his character to have everything. There will always be Cults and/or Cultures that break these rules, because the rules are intended as a way of describing the world, rather than the world being built up as a result of the rules (if that makes any sense). The misapplied worship rule is a default that you can fall back on when none of the exceptions apply.
