Surely some myth take?

Right, well... what was everyone on last night? Never seen so many posts new in the morning...

Anyway, without direct quotes, the general opinion was:-

Devotees can augment just about anyone with feats.

There is some concern as to whether they can grant anyone else a new ability (flying, running on treetops, etc), but general agreement that, even if they CAN, the Devotee must personally supervise (hold their hand seems to be the popular vote...).

When augmented, the deity 'takes over' a little bit of the augmented person (from within rather than from without, so to speak), but I presume the augmented person has sufficient control that he (ie the player) still gets to specify his own actions!

Augmentation can affect anyone, even Animists or folks who never even heard of the god, because gods are big and strong and can take over when they like (more precisely, when they have permission - when they DON'T they get to resist).

Some folks think those farther from the Devotee's deity should cause a penalty, or, alternatively (even additionally), how clearly the feat is MEANT to be used on others should.

Anything to add?

As to whether this is a GD question, I await the replies there, but it wasn't MEANT to be that deep!

Wulf
