Hey folks,

I am wondering if any further details of Eringulf's marriage quest (outlined in "Tales" #7) are known. Four of the Twelve Bountiful Treasures are mentioned (the Blessing of Seeds, the Happy Pigs, the Shield from Hailstones, and the Maker of Fine Horses), and one of the Seven Deadly Guardians (the Pig-dog). The encounter with Maran Gor was atypical, in that the pig-dogs appeared with her, which leads me to assume that Eringulf must have had an exceptional success in his attempt to navigate the Dark Plenty. Catching the Dancing Jar is, of course, the Heroquest Challenge, but is the wagered ability that which is used to catch it? This is somewhat odd to me, as Eringulf's See In Dark or Move Through Forest do not seem well-suited to jar-catching. What of the wager of his left arm, while we are at it... how do you resolve the wager of something which does not have an ability rating? Would this be one big extended contest, the victory level of which determining how many bets the quester wins, or a series of contests (either simple or extended)?

Any insights would be appreciated...
