>In modern Glorantha, Do you know which the city holds most population?
The cities with the biggest stated populations are
But I suspect that these numbers are guesswork at best (and I have seen a statement that Glamour's population is inflated).
A much easier question to answer is the names of the metropolises of Genertela. This is using the definition of having at least 25,000 people. They are (in no particular order)
Sog City (Fronela) Shi Ting (Kralorela) Sha Ming (Kralorela)
Surprisingly the civilized lands of Seshnela and Safelster don't have any metropolises. Based on size of the shadings in the Lunar Map, I'd say Joranit is the smallest, Elz Ast, Yuthuppa and Alkoth are bigger than Joranit and the same size as each other, while the two largest cities in the Empire are Raibanth and Glamour.
Beyond Genertela, Edomiyo in Vormain and Garguna in Fonrit are metropolises (Garguna is said to have 100,000 people).
>North Point?
Only a large city (10,000 to 25,000 souls).
>Or more independent cities such like Nochet or Hombori Tondo?
Nochet is actually part of Esrolia and Hombori Tondo (again only a large city) is not independent but the traditional capital of the Jann. Perhaps Memb in the East Isles has one, I dunno.
>And about in the past (imperial age), what do you think it?
I would probably add:
Goropheng (old Kralori capital)
Locsil (the Machine City in the Holy Country)
A City in the EWF
Frowal and Laurmal (Seshnelan Castle Coast)
Neleoswal (on the isle of Guebelle in Seshnela but now covered
by forest and not shown on map). Nolos (the old city now underwater in Seshnela). Pavis (when Jaldon sacked it, it was stated to have 25,000
people).
Either New Froswal, Yoranday and Varanswal (in Umathela)
A city in Jrustela.
Perhaps a city in Slontos.
