I had a trio of Ernaldan priestesses and their Babeester Gor guardians emulate Ernalda and Sleep through the Dragonkill and the following period, deliberately emulating Ernalda's deathly sleep in the Underworld during the Greater Darkness. So there were no "live" humans, but the players got to wake them in their temple (shame the Krashtkids got there first, waiting for the live food they knew was coming).
