> British soldiers were nicknamed Tommies (from Kipling's Tommy
> Atkins) and Russians were Ivan. Now what would Lunar soldiers be??
I don't have anything directly comparable. I've used "redcloaks" as a Sartarite slang term for Lunar soldiers (Provincials and Heartland Corps, by and large), but *unlike* your examples this isn't derived from a personal name. It does, of course, give you resonance with other rebellions of the colonial past (always a plus, in my book).
"Ma! Pa! The redcloaks are coming!"
