Not stupid, even if I would not count it common.

Sorcerors, IMO, tend to be focused on magic and grimoires because it requires much dedication (time, HP, time, attention, time etc.). So a skilled architect-sorcerer seems to me quite ossymorous. Especially in Pavis. Such a character would be involved in the costruction of the bridge between Glamour and the Moon (or between Calabria and Sicily ;-)). YGMV.
