Our original intent in proposing this was that by day the Dark Moon (i.e. Dying and Black phases) would be visible within the Glowline as a black body in the sky; by night, as the corona/halo/nimbus described in the Glorantha Introduction.
Outside the Glowline, of course, the Dark Moon is invisible day and night.
