I didn't know this. The only reference to Heortling parts that I remember is a story of Orlanth where he was split into 48 pieces and the storyteller remarks that it was just as well that he was not split into all 49. I think that this comes from a story of how Thed went bad and how Orlanth found that there could be too much justice.
I do appreciate you answering my questions, which will help out in a game session soon.
