Although such things don't matter much in Hero Wars, I should point out that:

• Most of the people in Wenelia are Manirian Orlanthi and it would have posed no greater difficulty to him than if he went to Esrolia. Although both the Ramalians and the Caladralanders speak a dialect of Manirian Orlanthi, they are not Orlanthi and so the Greeting won't work with them.
• He doesn't need to enter Ramalia to reach Pralorela. He only needs to go through the lands of the Ditali, the Solanthi, the Nimistorians and finally Bastis, all of which are mostly Orlanthi.
