His sleigh has powers of flight and movement. Maybe a gift from a Mastakos, maybe sprit driven.
The bells on his sleight are to drive off spirits of chaos and discord.
He clearly travels the spirit realm in order to fit through the chimney.
His magic bag cleverly transports goods on the spirit plane, how else would they fit!
He is friendly to animals, and has damion deer to pull his sleigh. One even has a fire crystal nose! Even a DEER beat Yelmalio at the Hill of Gold, sheesh!
He only comes out once a year, hangs out with elves and cries HO, HO, HO. Pretty weird even for a Kolating.
He is friendly with the elves, they do all the work... hmm, maybe Mrs. Clause is an elf or Dryad.
He KNOWs when you are sleeping! (An OLD shamanic trick)
He KNOWS if you've been bad or good. (by consulting the surrounding spirits, impests and ancestors who might be around you.)
The north pole could be Valinds Glacier, or the 'pole' just might really be Kero Fin.
He likes children. Shamans always seem to like kids the best. They listen more.
The numerous cookies and milk left for him might be part of an elaborate immortality ritual, which he learned from Zzabur. He could be Zzabur.
He's may not be a Kolating, but another Thunder Brother. How many thunder bros. are there?
