Yep, that's on the "sentient animals" page ref in Anaxial's Rooster (cf. my earlier post). Sentient animals are exceptional in having Cunning 15+; griffins have a natural Cunning of 18, which suggests that all griffins are naturally as intelligent as the rare talking foxes, fishes, etc.
