This seems directly at odds with the heart of Orlanthi belief. Of course, paradox is an essential part of most religious systems, but I think you'll have to work to show the value of your notion when opposed to the Orlanthi touchstone principle of "No-one can make you do anything".

But the adulthood initiation *is* heroic activity, isn't it?
