Totally agreed. If you ever doubted that the Other Side is unpredictable, complicated, messy, and very, very dangerous, read some of the Mythago books. Chaarcters who think they know what they're doing, and think it would be clever to pop onto the Hero Plane to do a quick errand with specific results tend to reappear in the wrong millennium and as the wrong species.
