Another character from "Gangs of New York" - a few minor edits (like swapping "Sword" for pisto - obviously "Englishwoman" would be replaced by an appropriate cultural keywordl) initially gives 123 words

Gallus Mag, A great Englishwoman well over six feet tall who keeps her skirts up with Suspenders, or Galluses. She is bouncer and general factotum of the Hole-In-The-Wall, and stalks fiercely about the dive with a sword stuck in her belt and a huge bludgeon strapped to her wrist. She is an expert in the use of both weapons, and an extraordinary virtuoso in the art of mayhem. It is her custom, after felling an obstreperous customer with her club to clutch his ear between her teeth and so drag him to the door. If her victim persists and struggles, she bites his ear off and deposits the detached member in a jar of alcohol in which she keeps her trophies in pickle

A little bit of editing gets it down to 103 words (including the name) which is close enough to 100 for me!
