I've always been rather partial to Hans Zimmer's film scores, of
which "Crimson Tide" is likely the most recognizable since it is
used so much these days in television trailers. Christopher Franke's
work, both solo and as a member of Tangerine Dream, is another good
choice. He scored the "Babylon 5" television series and has done
several films as well. Early Mannheim Steamroller "Fresh Aire"
albums are splendid also, and I once formulated an entire campaign
to his music.
