To reply to Ian's comments on the number of points given out (since I'm
the GM referred to in the thread) - I hadn't read the rules so I was
handing out 1 per session (admittedly we run quite short sessions, no
more than one or two extended contests) probably with 4/5 at the end of
the adventure, although this way of thinking stems from RQ. I think 3/4
per session sounds like too many - there shouldn't be too many so that
the player doesn't have to be really certain about committing them.
(i.e. one per extended combat).
As for the start date (to answer the other part of the thread), it took
me three months to get the time and the people together, although at the
cost of over committing myself time wise (hence the rather
improvisational nature of the campaign) - I was suprised to be able to
get it done at all and should be able now to get new people interested
and get a second campaign going.
BTW - if anyone wnats to play Wednesdays in Central London, please
e-mail me off-list.
