Isn't it high treason to even *consider* undertaking a ritual that might make you the equal of Moonson, with powerful political and religious backing, in a separate, independent, prosperous and populous power base of your own? :-)

I always think of "Caesar and Cleopatra" / "Anthony and Cleopatra" scenarios when Lunar conquerors come to Esrolia.
