Yes, quite right. Ancestors are a sort of collective set of daimoines whose identities are hard to pick out -- unless the person was very special -- a true Hero or object of worship in and of themselves. The worship and honour one's ancestors is a part of Orlanthi and Ernaldan practices. On death, the worshippers go to the appropriate afterlife -- and there are no spirits in the Godworld.
