My guess is that they wouldn't see the Durulz as birds so much as abominations (not being able to fly, etc...) Their devotion to evil rebel gods would reinforce that impression.

What happens if a Rinliddi warrior group is send into Dragon Pass to fight the rebels, and find out that the leader of this unit of the rebellous barbarians is a duck... a bird... a holy animal?
Do they swich sides and fight against the lunars besides their birdy friends?
