I was always fond of Dan's trolls modelled on the Haida and Tlingit. I think it works environmentally, although I think it is probably more like Southeastern Alaska and BC than Puget Sound. Nicely removed from just about everything (and everyone else). Only problem is that they are trolls and not humans.:)

Otherwise, maybe NW Umathela near Enkloso could work. Or maybe the islanders of the Tortugax Arch in NE Pamaltela could work.
