Hi,
There is a Thai movie that got some run at art-house theatres called Ong Bak. This movie
IS a heroquest, straight and simple. At a small village, the head of the Buddha is stolen to
be sold to a thriving black market in asian artifacts, and the hero vows to find and return
it. Just before he goes, the entire village gets together to give him their life savings,
blessed and lucky amulets, etc. Then good old fashion action ensues, with an ending that
is also Glorantha appropriate.
You can also find copies on DVD if you have a region free player.
