Not known for certain. All that we know is that one Garrath set sail on the Cradle. A few centuries later, a scribe went through Harreksaga and compiled a short paragraph about events in which "Argrath" took part. However we do not have the original text of Harreksaga and have no way of knowing whether:

• whether the saga actually said "Arkat" and the scribe interpreted it as "Argrath" (Mularik Ironeye of Tanisor was a wolf pirate and so the possibility of Arkati being on board can't be eliminated).
• whether the saga spoke of many Argraths. Since the term meant liberator, the Saga writer could have applied the term haphazardly to any one of Harrek's boon companions that had performed a liberating deed.

Hence it is possible for Garrath to have met his death anywhere along Harrek's circumnavigation voyage.
