In our game, you can spend no more than 3 hp per session (3 hrs typically) You get 3 HP per game, any unused get transferred to you character advancement fund. HP have to be spent when you get up to 10- 15 HP. We award 4-6 HP at the end of a chapter (maybe three or four sessions).
