Thats the way I feel about illuminates; their fascinating and a great addition to the setting but strictly as NPC's only. The reason is that you don't have to explain everything and can still have a fun NPC.
I was in the Glorantha seminar at Tentacles when Mysticism came up. If its in HQ I got the idea it had to be authentic and playable, which is the problem. I got the impression that its something Greg is giving some thought to, but has yet to come up with something he's happy with.
