Absolutely. I am thinking of a story where the young man in question is married but reluctant to give up his Niskis initiate status, courting popular disapproval, and suspicion from his wife. He has in fact been having a secret affair with a Vingan, which is bad karma.

Initially I thought that he may have been sacrificing to Niskis in secret, but that felt wrong somehow. Hence my question regarding the social acceptablity of Niskis.
