For my part I hope that the Gloranthan community can be multi-cultural and not tribal. Some of us have our favourite systems, others may want to play both, but I hope that the lists do not become a 'my preferred system is better than yours' playground brawl.
With the Second Age Third Age split we don't have to choose who we follow for Gloranthan lore. If someone wants to use Mongoose's Second Age material with HeroQuest then this list would be a great place to discuss it. The involvement of people like Robin and Jeff in Mongoose's output makes me confidant we will all want to see Mongoose's material regardless of system preference and I'm sure the reverse will be true for RuneQuest players looking to tackle the Third Age.
The Traveller community has got on fine with multiple game systems/periods, so we can too.
