Youngster. :-). I was writing Ars Magica back in '90. Why in my day, we had to hand-crush our own inks, make our own vellum, and send boxes of pages of text off to White Wolf, instead of a diskette.

It certainly doesn't have to be a whole book - I don't think any Heroquest product has been a 1-man show (Some Hero*Wars* products were). Collaboration is the name of the game, baby. You do tend to get access to unpublished material, especially if you're nice to Greg :-).

Here's a secret, just between us - writers make it up all the time! Shh, don't tell anyone. That's right, all that detail, all those one-off rferences to things that happened in the past - all made up, quite often by not-Greg. True, you might find that you've over-written some piece of esoterica that was written about in Sorcerer's Scroll #11 back in '84, but so what? Different story from siumialr people, same story from different people, all is truth.

Try writing Mark, and instead of "OI want to work with whoever will have me" try "I'd like to write about XYZ." If there is already a book on XYZ, he might put you in touch with the authors, if not, he might say "Start writing".

Dunno. Greg? Rick?

Good attitude.
