He became an NPC. Curiously we did meet him again,at the palace of the Only old one. I cribbed a bit of the LBQ for a different Heroquest. Its the bit where Orlanth gets thrown into the black pit after being betrayed by Eurmal. The charcater that Orlanth (the pc) fought was a troll armed with two daggers, very odd weapons for a troll! They later wondered if it had been Wenchbane (which of course it was). :^)
