If LC's player characters want to get 20-30 miles/day out of their beasts however, the horses will need to feed well - which means plenty of high energy oat mash and mimimal time wasted on grazing (not that there will be any grazing worthy of the name in Storm season). So they will need to know that there is a friendly stead waiting for them at the end of the day or have packbeasts along to carry their food. Some remounts would be handy also.
How much the logistics feature is up to LC of course (I would suggest not very much) but it can be useful detail to have on call for fleshing out descriptions and/or contest results.
