Seconded.

I think that was the point, but I personally dislike it.
Well, I dislike it as a written rule, anyway. Female adventurers in many RPG campaigns seem to have some sort of Campaign Protection device from their GM.
OTOH in a PDP-style game, children might be a blessing more than a curse.
Anyway, the rules in TR for shifting from one cult to another (and back again, if this is PC Vingans we're discussing) can surely handle any actual situation and/or punctual need ?

But Vingans aren't pure warriors : that's those Humakt chaps !
The Vingans can join any of the other normal Orlanth subcults, I believe, even the non-combat ones.
I believe that there are many, many differents kinds of Vingan ...
And : Fathers have kids too !
A Vingan can have kids and still be in the fyrd.
Plus the Eninta cult can help a Vingan warrior with her infants.

Prudishness is a far more realistic solution ; or ... honour ? :-)
I really don't think that Vingans should be tied down by any kind of written celibacy / infertility rule.
They're far more interesting without, IMO.

Yes : a moral choice. Much better.
Although there are always those Vingans who take the Henna'ed Way for the *sake* of their children ...
