Waha Quests

I was researching Waha HeroQuests and read the Freeing of the Protectresses from Drastic Prax/Different Worlds. I noted a strange fact that seems odd, at least with HW rules as they stand:

Preparation:
 "a shaman of Waha may not lead or even accompany the warriors on the quest"

So a shaman prepares the circle, sends the warriors off, but does NOT guide them through the otherworld.

Is this now incorrect, or is the Quest peculiar in some way?
