TR p29 speaks of 15 hearths divided among three large steads "that are essentially small villages, or hamlets" for a bloodline of 200 people.

All Orlanthi live with their immediate families.
Inner members of clan live on their own smaller steads.
Weaponthanes (plus assistants) live on the chieftain's steads.
Chieftain's stead also houses marketplace, redsmith, potter, carpenter and all the clans storehouses.
