Those seem to me as the most obvious responses. Using your "Worship Storm Pantheon" is always an option, of course. The difficulty when asking for Divine Aid is pretty high, though.

I am not sure, however, that the average Orlanth initiate hero is meant to be able to handle ghosts very well.

This is perhaps not a very enlightening answer. But I do believe that ghosts should be dangerous and feared for being the unnatural beings that they are.
