Some are animals that turn into human beings.
Some are human beings that turn into animals.
Some are both animals and humans.
Some are neither animal nor human, but hsunchen.
The precise attitude of the people varies. Among some hsunchen all of the above are found among them, spread along like a spectrum of possibilities. For other peoples only one of the above may apply. In some peoples they are divided into smaller groups which belive one of the above. In other hsunchen the small groups have people from any or all of the above.

These are the kinds of things that are debated every day in Glorantha. I am
sure that we could find examples of both positive and negative answers.

Yes, it happens all the time.
When the child reaches a certain age his or her inherent characteristics
are becoming apparent and they are raised within the traditions of the
appropriate parent.
