Ask a Brithini or some poor bugger from God Forgot.... Brithini don't believe in gods, spirits or essences (they might believe in the Invisible God but probably ony in the abstract). Only they hemselves and the inevitablity of their own deaths matter, really. Fortuantely, as long as they maintain their caste and rules, they are imortal but their souls cease to be on death.
Just because something tells you its a god doesn't mean you have to believe it. Its probably lying and trying drain your life. Look at how quickly those pagans die. WE live forever. THEY do not. Enough said. =)
