I think that after Starbrow's Rebellion the Colymar were forced by the Lunars to relinquish a clan to the Locaem. (No doubt the Lunars were listening to the complaints of Jeff Kyer's Aranwyth that "there are too darn many Colymar out there....")

This would no doubt cause problems between the two tribes. Especially if the clan in question identified more with the Locaem (perhaps they were an original part of the Locaem way back?).
