IMO tricksters should be a fine balance of obnoxiousness, humour, and rather terrifying inscrutable actions that may or may not be part of a long term plan.

In other words, sometimes they'll rig a bucket of dung above the door, sometimes they'll do an imitation of the Black Oak chief that leaves you all in tears of laughter, and sometimes they'll manage to extract an oath from every adult in the clan not to harm any frogs next year.....and next year you may not see any abnormal frog activity, you may have a swarm of frogs, or you may see one gigantic frog. And if you don't harm them you may just increase your suffering or you may avert an awful fate. And if you do harm them you may come to no harm or trigger awful karmic doom. Or maybe the children of the clan rally to fight off the frogs, and maybe that was just what the trickster wanted all along. Or.....

It is the obnoxiousness and humour for which tricksters are best known. It is the terrifying inscrutable actions that make them really fun to have in the campaign :)
