Captain General Harfang Var Fang had is his charge three Bandit clans from
the south. Half dressed savages who loved storms and fighting. He sent them
north from Brinnus to cause trouble in the hills of Jhor.
[I ran this bit on a hex map of Carmania with Dragon Pass counters)
Lord General B'hor took his heavy cavalry around the shores of Lake Oronin
and then down into the Oronin Valley. The main army, Bull People from the
hills, Militia from Ajaak, the Bull Guard, the Exiled Rafelions and the Axe
Sisters, formed the main body of the huge Army of the Bull.
[huge Army=big Stack]
Shah Ningizztavar rode on his great Charger and inspired his troops
[player controlling the Shah wanted to inspire the troops, I said, "go on
then" and he augmented with his Horse]
Traitors tried to steal some of the war chest but Black Vizirs had read the stars [player decsion- divination for trouble] and Hazars [PCs plus followers] captured them [simple contest pursuit]. The Bull Shah ordered them killed [player decision, this player was worried about army morale].
Day 6
Lord General B'hor, in the vanguard, arrived at Ulawar and made camp around
the city. He had received emissaries from the Lunar Satrap of Naveria and had
made a deal of sorts. In Ulawar the Lord General described wine with poetry
and ate food that induced fantastic bodily reactions. Many of his loyal
troops deserted to taste Ulawars pleasures.[simple contest of loyalty] The
main army caught up in this time. Still no word had come from the enemy [the
Moon Shah] In Jhor the Bandit clans ambushed Char un war bands and, unable to
manoeuvere in the hilly terrain, the Char Un took heavy casualties before
escaping back to Kitor. [extended contest, casualties dependant on AP loss]
