In relation to mathhew cole's comments about myth in our world and in glorantha.....

He suggest that ......

Myth in our world can be as important to some cultures as that which we call historical fact but in our culture the truth is literally 'out there' for us to discover by experience or science or God or whatever.

i would take question to whether the 'truth' (if such can be postulated to exist) is real or not
i postulate that there is no suck thing as truth, for form my epistemological stance there is no suck think as truth, socially constructed reality maybe, i prefer myth. Our world is based on emergent fabric based on and in myth, myth is not a thing that happened in the past it remains a vibrant force constanly evolving, the same in our world as glorantha, just different...

if anyone feels the need to respond mail me and i explain further... martin
