This is true. Much of this could have been private email.

However, hunting down Towel Boy and finding out what he's overheard, what sort of social position or rituals might occur with respect to saunas/bathouses/a-wide-spot-in-a-damned-cold-stream/etc, and the terrible things a Trickster can do in a steam bath is quite germaine.  If they serve an important social function, it might be very useful for an RPG standpoint. Casual plotting in a bath is certainly more interesting than the old Traveller/D&D/Shadowrun-ish 'You find yourself in a BAR, looking for a PATRON. He has a JOB which pays FOUR COWS but there are COMPLICATIONS.'

But I did find that tendency of everyone to consider their favorite culture (gloranthan or RL) clean and all the others less cleanly highly amusing.
