A wyter (or vexilla) will exist as long as its body remains intact,
even though its community be gone and its territory claimed by others.
It will only have the strength native to it (or perhaps less) but as
long as _it_ exists, the community exits.
Thus, one can raise a long lost legion from the ashes of the past...
if you have the standard. Without that, you have nothing but
memories.
