Indeed, good reason. Also it's much easier to give names to the NPC:s / Narratorial characters when you have a cultural namebase to draw them from.

Mongols for me, definitely. Parhaps Manchurian names too.

For some reason I keep getting the Praxians more like beduins. I use the indian names for the Grazers (and the centaurs/beastfolk)

Ancient greek is from bronze age, surely. But it's just a matter of choise and esoteric taste.
