Obviously, mining in Gloranth, even among the Heotlings, may not be much like RW mining -- Ernaldans and other Earth cults may use daimons to bring metals to the surface, for example, and various feats may help make the process easier, more productive, and less fatal than ancient mining (calling on Storm to get fresh air or using Earth magics to harden tools, for example). Prayers and rituals to avoid the wrath of the Earth (especially Asrelia) or the dead gods whose bones you're messing with seem obvious, too.
