I'll second that (and preserve David's modesty). Not only is it a great example of Orlanthi life its also a great game. A few people I know have also used it as an introductory tool, sitting down with their players to play through a few years of the game together.
Please don't feel personally offended by some of the warnings you see about various topics too much. Like any list we have various 'don't go there' topics because they seem to cause 'flame wars' whenever they are raised. We really need to put together an FAQ for newbies to explain what the various points of view were in the orginal to help newbies avoid upsetting anyone by dredging these up.
