Heortling Godyr have the abilities "Sense Gods Nearby" and "Sense Spirits Nearby". I have always taken "Gods" to mean 'theistic entity'. With these two abilities the godi should be able tell if a critter is a spirit or a daimone. If it is an essence he is hooped.
