Just a hint a about group standards, Yank. 'Ozzies' (that's Aussies in those countries that can spell) is a neutral or even endearing nickname. Try transportees, convicts, roo-chasers, Straaaalians, wombats (eats roots, shoots and leaves) or bush bandicoots for that authentic air of superiority and distain. Of course being an ex-colony yourself, you'll never be able to measure up to the way 'colonials' can slide of a sneering English lip. It's genetic, a deep structured cultural trait from the folk that conquered the world then let it slip away during cake and scones. (I should know, I married into an English family). But try anyway, this group has standards to uphold.
I'd ask how Dundracon went, but I'd only have to slag it.
