Jane,

If you're goal is to be helpful, please remember the name of this group. If you are trying to prove me wrong on prices, I would be careful. I don't contradict you on whitewall or sun county, and I'd be hesitant if I were you to debate auction prices with me.

Auction prices are usually decided in the last few seconds, especially on ebay, where snipers regularly use software to put in their last minute bids. When I say "usually go for" I am working from averages. That means people sometimes pay less and sometimes pay more.

To prove my sincerity, I'll be happy to bet you a pint, payable when I'm over in London in October. If Plunder goes for less than $20, I'll buy. Otherwise you buy. I lose, regardless of price, if I am the high bidder when the auction ends.

Also, Borderlands was sold last week for $67. The last Plunder sold about 6 weeks ago went for $22. Plunder may be at $8 at the moment, but the auction has over 3 days to go. I had the $3 high bid on an RQ2 hardcover last month. That price stuck until 7 seconds before the auction ended, when the price got bumped up to $57 by snipers.

So nyah,
Rick
